Fire Drill Empowers Employees With Hands-On Safety Skills

ASC strengthened its commitment to workplace safety today with a comprehensive fire drill at the Mind Technology Park. The exercise went beyond evacuation procedures to include hands-on fire extinguisher training, ensuring every employee is prepared to respond effectively in an emergency.

The drill began with the activation of the building alarm. Employees followed evacuation routes calmly and assembled at the designated muster point for accountability checks. Following the successful evacuation, the focus shifted to practical skill development.

Under the guidance of certified safety officers, employees participated in live demonstrations on using portable fire extinguishers. Using training units with non-flammable agents, staff practiced the P.A.S.S. technique – Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep – to safely extinguish controlled training fires.

The session concluded with a debrief where the safety team reviewed evacuation performance and reinforced key fire safety principles. Feedback from participants highlighted the value of the practical experience.

This drill is part of ASC's ongoing safety program, which includes regular equipment inspections, updated response plans, and continuous training. The company remains dedicated to providing a secure working environment for all staff.
